The Marvel Cinematic Universe has produced so many excellent examples of narrative that it is difficult to keep track of them all. Let us begin by saying that the series began with a single film and has since evolved into a beautiful linked media behemoth. From a single Iron Man film, we got two sequels, 22 connected films, and who knows how many media tie-ins. This is the golden age of Marvel films, one that will be remembered by future generations. We shall remember the people who motivated us to excellence, most notably Dr. Steven Strange. The Sorcerer Supreme is a strong sorcerer who fought on his own against Thanos but was finally defeated. In the fourth episode of What If…? Things have taken an unexpected turn. In the episode, Marvel revealed how Doctor Strange may defeat Thanos.

As the episodes are broadcasted, this one is a bit strange. It begins with a weird familiarity and gradually deteriorates until Strange looks in the mirror and can not recognize himself. It’s charming to witness a character you care about succumb to the dark arts. The Ancient One utilized the power of the dark realm to divide Strange’s chronology in two to preserve this world, we discover at the end of the episode. As a result, she divided his consciousness that there was someone who could resist the Dark Doctor Strange. We may not have realized it at the time, but this was not the hero arc we were expecting to see throughout the show.

The Fall of a Hero:

The episode’s title was “What if Doctor Strange lost his heart but not his hands?” It was meant to represent Christine’s death, the permanent loss of a loved one as a result of hubris. None of this is easy to accept, and for an intellectual control freak like Strange, moving on was never an option. Rather than giving up when he was ahead, the excellent doctor continued to test the limits of his knowledge and strength, expecting that something would click while he researched. He discovered the forgotten magic of absorption, which enabled him to absorb the power of mystical animals. He utilized this ability to modify an absolute point in time, destroying his universe in the process.

It was an emotional endeavour, but it was ultimately futile. In the end, the only person Strange Supreme needed to beat in order to achieve his objectives was Doctor Strange himself. The wicked sorcerer gradually weakened the Sorcerer Supreme’s defense before employing absorption magic on him. Strange was able to gather the power required for the magic as a result of this. We’re attempting to emphasize that, despite the plot being terribly terrible, it did make the Sorcerer Supreme immensely more powerful than we’re used to.

Strange Supreme defeats Sorcerer Supreme in a one-on-one battle, which is a suitable analogy. The good Strange understood that all he could do was plead for compassion, hoping that Strange Supreme would see the mistake of his ways, but the man was only seeing red because he was insane. It ponders the question of what would have happened if Strange Supreme had faced Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.

The Epic Showdown:

It is apparent that Thanos will be armed with the Infinity Gauntlet throughout this battle. But we’re sad to say that the Mad Titan is doomed without it. As we write about it, we understand that even with the Infinity Stones, he has a very little chance of survival. Given how quickly the evil one eliminated the good Sorcerer Supreme, we will be shocked if Thanos is not consumed in a moment.

When we take a deeper look at absorption magic, we see that there is very little that can compete with it. Even the “Eye Of Agamotto” couldn’t help much. So, what good would infinite power against a void bring you? Even if Thanos launches all of the stones at Strange Supreme at once, the Sorcerer will be able to absorb the majority of them and dispatch the remainder. Nobody in the MCU has such power, and that is the most intriguing aspect of all. With the latest episode, we may have gotten a glimpse of the MCU’s most powerful character, a universe buster in comic nerd terms. We’re ecstatic about it; how about you?
