Details From X-Men Trailer
Dawn of X focuses on various characters throughout the X-Men franchise
The trailer of X-Men shows the island of Krakoa, well established and providing a home for X-Men who are free to make their positive mark on the world. The mutants all live under one flag and form a united front for the safety and protection of Krakoa.
Expected Storylines That The Series Will Pursue
The series will introduce a constant flow of various characters, from the heroic ones to those with villainous tendencies. There may be some recurring characters, some fan-favourites and even some hostile characters that are necessary for conflictual storylines.
According to Marvel editor-in-chief, CB Cebulski, “When people ask Hickman who is in the book, he says everyone. This is the book that anyone can show up at any time in this book. Cyclops is going to be putting together various teams for whatever mission comes up, and this is endless action.” Cebulski said this during a Dawn of X panel at the New York Comic Con.
Similar X-Men Series’ To Be Released
X-Men will be the flagship title of the Dawn of X relaunch, but there are five other series that are taking place subsequently. Marauders revolves around Kitty Pride leading a group of X-Men to protect mutants around the world. New Mutants provides an interesting spin by taking younger mutants to outer space. Fallen Angels focuses on Cable, Psylocke, and X-23 as they try to navigate through not fitting into the mutants status quo. X-Force follows the special ops and intelligence wings within the mutant world. A Wolverine solo series has also been announced by Marvel at the New York Comic-Con.
