MASHLE: Magic and Muscles, the TV anime adaptation based on the shonen fantasy/action manga, is bringing its most recent story arc to a close, and now according to a special event and a post on its official social media feeds, a sequel anime has been green-lit for the series.

The original MASHLE: Magic and Muscles manga by Hajime Komoto was serialized from January 2020 to July 2023 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump manga magazine, and an English language version is also available on VIZ Media.

Tomonari Tanaka directed the previous anime at A-1 Pictures. Yousuke Kuroda was in charge of the series scripts, and Hisashi Higashijima designed the characters. Meanwhile, Masaru Yokoyama composed the music.
