MCU: 5 Times Peter Parker And Ned Leeds Were Friendship Goals
Peter Parker and Ned Leeds’ friendship is both hilarious and admirable in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man. With that said, it is Tom Holland who has been portraying the Spider-Man for the MCU while Marisa Tomei plays Aunt May, Zendaya playing M.J., and Tony Revolori as Flash Thompson. Undoubtedly, out of all these characters, Peter Parker’s relationship goes the best with his best Pal, Edward Ned Leeds. It is Jacob Batalon who has been and will continue portraying Ned in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
With that being said, these are the 5 times when Peter and Ned had their “friendship goals” moment in the MCU –
Hot Fuzz Kinda Interrogation
We have seen how Danny starts questioning Nicholas in Hot Fuzz when he discovers that Nicholas lived all his favorite films when he was playing a cop in London. That’s something similar that Ned did with Peter when he discovered that his friend is a superhero. In one of the scenes, he questioned Peter that whether or not he could lay eggs? That was hilarious.
Ned As The “Guy In The Car”
After discovering that his friend is the real Spider-Man, Ned asks Peter whether or not he could join him as “the guy in the chair.” He referred to the guy who helps the lead actor with all the necessary navigation and direction in Mission: Impossible. While Peter said no to Ned’s offer, he accepted him later.
Ned Helped Peter To Get Out The Bus
When the Black Order arrives on Earth in Avengers: Infinity War, Peter spots their Q-Ship while going to the school in a bus. As a result, he needed to get off that school bus as soon as possible to help the Avengers fight the villain. He was willing to help them because of Iron Man who was a father figure to him. As a result, it was Ned Leeds who created a distraction for others so that Peter Parker could get off the bus.
Ned Discovered Who Spider-Man Is
Oh! This should have been the first moment on this list. But anyway, this scene was no less hilarious. When Ned arrived at Peter Parker and Aunt May’s apartment to process the building of his new LEGO Death Star, he got shocked. When he entered Peter’s room, our beloved Web-Slinger was changing his costume. As a result, Ned got shocked and dropped the LEGO Death Star he brought to build with Peter. But later, both had a deal to keep it all a secret and that’s when Ned went curious and started asking Peter some really silly questions.
The Re-Union
When Peter Parker, AKA Spider-Man turned into dust at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, it felt quite heartbreaking. But apparently, five years later, he showed up as a result of the Avengers’ efforts to bring everyone back (by snapping again). The Avengers in Endgame collected all the Infinity Stones by traveling back in time and it was the Hulk who snapped this time. During the end montage of the film, we could see the characters reuniting with their families and friends after five years. With that said when Peter Parker meets Ned Leeds at school, Ned rushes to give Peter a tight hug. That was quite a bro-mantic scene.
