MCU: 7 Most Disliked Heroes From Disney+ Shows

Yes, heroes are meant to be loved. However, sometimes, you just can’t help but dislike them for not being heroes enough. This is exactly what the case is with some of the MCU heroes that debuted in the Disney+ shows. With a new phase in the MCU, we’ve been served with new and refreshing content. Phase 4 has seen the introduction of the multiverse and new heroes. However, many of them weren’t liked by the fans. Why? For that, you need to continue reading. 1.  Kate Bishop

Okay, some of you might have issues with her timings or her nature. But she’s here on the list for another reason. Throughout Clint’s journey in the MCU, we saw him develop himself into this crazy hero that he is! We all were waiting for him to get a solo project. After years when he did, Kate Bishop came in and took the mantle. The whole series was about Clint passing on the torch to Kate. WHY? Coming back to Kate, she has both good and bad things about her. She has good intentions. However, she seems to be immature.

2. The Watcher

Our beloved narrator of “What If…?”, The Watcher takes the responsibility of guiding the viewers about the events that happen throughout. But let’s not forget, he had immense power. Yes, he’s the watcher and not supposed to do anything, but he did end up stepping in the matter, right? Then why not do it a little sooner? Why didn’t he intervene before and fix things?

3. Sylvie Laufeydottir

When it was announced that we’ll get to watch a series solely dedicated to Loki, we all were so excited. Weren’t we? However, when it was released, it felt as if it was more about TVA and Loki’s variants. We thought the series will explore more about Loki, his childhood, his acts of mischief, his nature, and his sexuality. But nothing of that sorts happened. Instead, we were introduced to Sylvie, Loki’s variant. She was fearless, fierce and adamant about taking down the TVA. However, not everyone liked Sylvie. Maybe because she just wasn’t the Lady Loki fans were hoping to see.

4. Bucky Barnes

In “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” we saw how Bucky turned into the Winter Soldier. He was dangerous, unstoppable, undefeatable. Then in “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”, we see a completely new version of Bucky. Buck is emotional, empathetic, and preventive. This led to a decline in his efficiency during the battles. This series could’ve shown how he overcomes all these but they failed to do so. This led to fans not quite liking his character as such. Bucky’s character is very promising, but we couldn’t see MCU doing justice to him in the series.

5. Sam Wilson

Steve Rogers dedicated his life to America and the world. That’s what makes him Captain America. In the end, when it was time, he passed the torch to Sam Wilson, his friend. Sam was one person who helped Steve without caring about his life. So, it was natural that Steve trusted him with the responsibility. However, what do we see in “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”? All of a sudden he thought it was a responsibility he couldn’t take and gave away the shield. Why did he even accept the shield at first? Now that he did and couldn’t take the responsibility, he should’ve passed it on to someone who was connected to Steve, let’s say Bucky for instance. This would’ve made sense at least. However, his lame decision led to an unlikeable version of Cap America, John Walker.

6. Wanda Maximoff

The first series of Phase 4 “WandaVision” was absolutely amazing. We won’t deny it. But, can you imagine a woman using her powers to enslave real people and torture them to create her own reality? That sucks. This is not what heroes do. We understand she has suffered a lot in her past, lost her loved ones, but that doesn’t mean she had the right to do what she did. All this she did when she was unaware of her ‘real’ powers. Now that she knows, we don’t know what all she can do in the future!
