MCU Teases the Return of Iron Man for the First Time After Robert Downey Jr’s Death in Avengers: Endgame
Iron Man, Tony Stark, died, and his passing in the movie Avengers: Endgame was a turning point in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Robert Downey Jr.’s outstanding performance started with the first MCU film Iron Man in 2008. Downey Jr. experienced personal difficulties before getting the part, such as troubles with drugs, alcohol, and the law.
However, his transformation into Iron Man not only won him over fans all around the world but also helped him to rise to the top of the acting business. Iron Man became an iconic superhero through his portrayal and is likely the most famous and adored character among MCU fans.
One of the most painful scenes in the Marvel Universe was the dying scene of Iron Man. Everyone was unable to help but cry. And let’s just not talk about how disappointed everyone was to learn they would no longer be able to see the charming billionaire Stark fighting against evil. Is Tony Stark to make a comeback after dying in MCU’s Avengers: Endgame?
All Marvel fans should buckle up because it appears that Tony Stark will return in the upcoming season of What If…? In the first season of the animated Disney+ series, Iron Man made an appearance, although he largely played a supporting role and met some tragic ends in a few episodes, which in all honesty kind of became a running sarcastic and mean joke. However, as new merchandise suggests that Tony Stark will play a bigger role in the second season of the show, Iron Man fans are excited.
A new Marvel Legends Series figurine showing Warrior Gamora from What If…? was just unveiled by Hasbro Pulse. The teasing description that goes with it has everyone’s attention. In this parallel reality, Tony Stark is the target of Gamora, who was once taught by Thanos to be a deadly assassin. Iron Man is once again on her radar, and it’s clear from the very beginning of the episode that he’s in for a challenging journey.
The rumor is that this episode will take a different approach to the events of Thor: Ragnarok, with Tony Stark instead of Thor ending up on Sakaar. Due to the effect the Covid-19 pandemic had on the production schedule, this exciting plotline had to be postponed until the second season of the show. In the Season 1 finale, when the mysterious Watcher pulled Gamora from her reality to form the Guardians of the Multiverse, viewers got a peek at how this episode would end.

While he appeared in a few supporting roles during Season 1, our beloved Iron Man will now take center stage for the upcoming Disney+ season of What If…?

Bradley claimed that the upcoming episode will be an emotional rollercoaster and that there will be some shocks for the audiences, particularly with Gamora and her stylish new armor. The method she uses to obtain her cutting-edge equipment as she aims for Tony Stark is sure to leave people in awe.
The hype over Stark, however, continues. There will be additional Tony Stark cameos throughout Season 2. The MCU stories Black Widow, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Avengers: Infinity War served as inspiration for the amazing eight episodes, so it’s safe to say that our charming billionaire genius will have plenty of chances to steal the show once more.
