The Avengers Tower has become an important part of the MCU skyline since it first appeared on screen. But when Tony Stark decided to move to a new compound upstate, he sold the tower. It was revealed first by Happy Hogan when he was transferring all the Avengers equipment to a new facility, and he told Peter Parker that in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Kevin Feige has been quiet about the tower’s new owner for years. But in a recent update, he has finally revealed some information. In an earlier conversation with ComicBook, Feige mentioned that it was not decided who actually bought the tower at the time.

However, in a recent interview with ComicBook, Feige revealed that the person is decided now, he knows the person, and it is the same answer as previously, and it will be revealed soon.

Tom Holland also teased fans about the tower’s importance since Homecoming. In an earlier interview with ComicBook, he said that he knew who bought the tower, but Zendaya was quick to close his mouth, as he is known for spoiling plot details.

Apart from Holland, Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays Kingpin, also talked about the tower. In an interview with Phase Zero, he hinted that it could play a crucial role in future storylines, and Marvel’s head of streaming, Brad Winderbaum, also said that he knew the new owner and said, “Yes. Honestly, yes, you will find out.”

Despite all the teases and hints, it is still a mystery who owns the Avengers Tower. The person might be a hero or a villain, or maybe just a really rich real estate investor. However, there have been some strong candidates in fan speculation.

Is Kang the New Owner of Avengers Tower?

Some fan theories say that Kang the Conqueror might be the new owner of Avengers Tower. Although it sounds unbelievable, there are some fair reasons that put him on the list of candidates.

Nathaniel Richards aka Mr. Gryphon is one of the variants of Kang in the comics. This version of Kang is a successful businessman in the 21st century. In Loki Season 1 Episode 5, there is a very brief shot where a pruned Avengers tower is shown. However, instead of ‘Avengers’, it was ‘Qeng’ written on the tower.

The company belongs to Gryphon in comics and in Spider-Man: Homecoming, the “Qeng Enterprises” logo was spotted on a moving truck. All these subtle hints increase the chances of Kang’s variant being the new owner of Avengers Tower.

However, after the removal of Jonathan Majors from Marvel following his assault case, it is still unknown if Marvel will go with Kang as the upcoming big villain or if it will be another new villain or a new actor for Kang.

Apart from Kang, there are some speculations that either Kingpin, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine or the Fantastic Four might be the new owner of the tower. However, one thing that is for sure is that whoever owns the tower will play a crucial role in MCU’s future.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is available to stream on Netflix, SonyLiv, and Prime Video.
