MTV Movie & TV Awards Crowns Tom Holland Best Actor for No Way Home
Tom Holland grabbed one of the most iconic awards in his career at the MTV Movie & TV Awards. Tom Holland who plays Peter Parker in the MCU Spiderman movie was awarded under the “Best Performance in Movie” category for Spiderman: No Way Home. Similarly, Zendaya won the award under the “Best Performance in Series” category in a Show for Euphoria.

Spiderman: No Way Home also won the Best Movie award on the award night defeating The Batman, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Adam Project, Scream, and Dune. Willem Dafoe who played Green Goblin in the recent Spiderman No Way Home was also nominated as the Best Villain. During the MTV Movie & TV Awards event, Tom Holland and Zendaya were not present physically but a video of them was shown. MJ and Peter Parker expressed their gratitude towards their fan who voted for the Spiderman movie and all the love that the movie got.

Reportedly, Tom Holland and Zendaya’s dating rumors were in the air after the MJ girl posted a photo of her Peter Parker on his birthday. The duo was also nominated for Best Kiss for Spider-Man: No Way Home, but that award went to Sean McInerney and a snake for Jackass Forever. Spiderman: NWH was the most-nominated film of the night at MTV Movie & TV Awards, earning seven total nominations. Similarly, Zendaya’s Euphoria oddly enough had seven nominations as the most-nominated show at the MTV Movie & TV Awards.

Fans are eager to see the reunion of Zendaya’s MJ and Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in the next upcoming Spiderman movie. Recently, Sony Chairman, Tom Rothman shares updates on the future of the Spider-Man franchise, as well as news on how the studio’s own Marvel movies, Kraven the Hunter and Madame Web, are progressing. In an interview with Deadline, Tom Rothman said,
“Uncharted, Jumanji, Spider-Man. We have our Marvel business, which breaks into three tranches. There are the Spider-Man movies, and we’re currently at work on two Spider-Verse sequels to our Oscar-winning animated movie, with Lord and Miller. We hope to get working on the next Spider-Man movie.”
