New No Way Home Poster Shows Spider-Man Swinging Into the Multiverse With Doctor Strange on
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home is now barely a month away from its release and now we have a new poster released by Marvel Studios. After Peter’s secret identity of the web-slinger was revealed to everyone by Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio in Far From Home, Spider-Man turns to Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange for help, asking to make everyone forget that he’s Spider-Man – everyone except Ned (his best friend), his girlfriend MJ and Aunt May played by Marisa Tomei. However, even after Wong’s warnings to not cast the spell, Strange does it and it has some unintended consequences, as things go into the multiverse with Doctor Strange and Spider-Man (or Spider-Men) taking on the sinister villains which cross into the MCU.
Spider-Man: No Way Home Releases In Less Than 20 Days!
This international variant poster released by Sony Pictures India shows Spider-Man and Doctor Strange trying to take on the Green Goblin, played by Willem Dafoe, Doc Octopus (played by Alfred Molina) and Electro, played by Jamie Foxx.
Here’s the poster:
Before the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the Sorecer Supreme finds himself in Spider-Man’s mess when Peter gets his hands on a magic box which is tied to the multiversal villains’ arrival in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As our friendly neighborhood hero’s identity crisis goes on to unfold after the events of Far From Home, he will face news enemies like The Lizard, played by Rhys Ifans and Sandman, played by Thomas Haden Church.
After Spider-Man previously teaming up with Iron Man in Infinity War and the rest of the Avengers in Endgame, he has a “close relationship” with Doctor Strange, as revealed by Benedict Cumberbatch.
“They’re neighborhood superheroes, and they’ve had an experience or two. They’ve got history,” he previously told The Hollywood Reporter. “It might be the case that Peter asks me to help him do something? I think I’m allowed to say that much. I help him fill in his tax returns. That’s what I do.”
Tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home are now on sale.
For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.
Starring Zendaya, Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Marisa Tomei, Alfred Molina, and Benedict Cumberbatch, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: No Way Home opens in movie theaters on December 17.
