New Trailer For Chris Hemsworth’s Limitless Is Out By Disney+

The first trailer for Limitless with Chris Hemsworth has been shared by Disney+. This will be a new series from National Geographic, which happens to be one of the companies that were added to Disney’s portfolio after their merger with 20th Century Fox. The Thor star will be taking on the series, that looks at pushing the human body and its limits, trying to slow the aging process and help lead the best of their lives. Coming from executive producer Darren Aronofsky, who is best known as the director of movies like Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream, this looks like something interesting.

Keeping in line with many of Nat Geo specials, this takes Hemsworth to the farthest corners of the Earth, where extreme conditions prevail. It will see Hemsworth putting himself in at least some physical danger, which is actually lampshaded by Hemsworth in the opening seconds of the trailer.

The episodes will be centered around Hemsworth’s interaction with a scientist who posits some theories about how some people can activate their utmost potential, superhuman abilities, or not. The Marvel star will be placed through different scenarios around the world as these questions demand answers. Hearing from Hemsworth himself, signing on for grueling training may not sound quite appealing on paper, but the possibility of helping someone was too much to pass up.

“Basically, I was somehow convinced to volunteer myself as a human guinea pig and endure a series of mental and physical challenges across the globe, all for the sake of science,” Hemsworth explained when the series was announced. “We’re hoping to shed some light on new ideas and emerging science with the focus on extending a healthy life span. Production starts soon, so wish me luck.”
