Gotham debuted in 2014 with a modern take on Batman characters that fans know well enough. The series narrates the story of how Jim Gordon, Bruce Wayne and the rogues gallery arrive at their respective stages in the whole Batman story. Over the years, a young David Amazonia has grown into an older and more mature Bruce Wayne who toils hard to save the people of Gotham. Meanwhile, Jim Gordon goes from a moralistic cop to the captain of the Gotham Police Department. Gotham has shown many Batman character over its run and now the show has finally released a trailer about what’s next in the tale.

Titled as “No Man’s Land”, the trailer looks similar to the Batman: Arkham Knight video game. With the city breaking loose, only Gotham can defend itself at this stage from the new threats arising. With more characters from the Batman lore joining Gotham, the threats only get higher. Nyssa Al Ghul and Bane are strong and Gotham’s best will need to unite to take them down. More actions awaits in the last two episodes of Gotham, and if you’re a Gotham fan, you really don’t want to miss out on that.

As Bane enacts his final plan for Gotham’s destruction, Gordon rallies his former enemies to save the city. Meanwhile, Nyssa al Ghul kidnaps Barbara’s newborn daughter with ambitions to raise her as her own. Then, Bruce’s decision to leave Gotham points him to his destiny, while devastating Selina.

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, Morena Baccarin, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor as The Penguin, Erin Richards, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle, Cory Michael Smith as The Riddler, and Chris Chalk.

Gotham will air next Thursday, April 18 on FOX.
