Nintendo Announces Sequel To “The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild”
E3 2019 has been delivering a steady basket of goodies which is only amping up our excitement. Another one to join the list is Legend of Zelda and it looks like the franchise was pretty busy making some big moves behind the scenes. During the conference’s huge Nintendo Direct, it was confirmed that a sequel was in development for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Nintendo certainly hit big by announcing the sequel to one of Nintendo Switch‘s top selling games. As expected, Zelda fans were losing their mind at their bit of news. What Does The Trailer For The Sequel Of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Show?
The trailer is packed with a lot of easter eggs. For one, the music which can is heard right at the beginning sounds really familiar to something gamers heard way back in Twilight Princess. As the trailer continues, viewers will watch Link and Zelda explore a cavern underneath the Hyrule Castle. But their mission gets foiled when a skeleton falls from the ceiling. This queenly figure appears to be wearing jewels from Hyrule. The body then opens its eyes and here fans have pointed out how the dark atmospheres corresponds with titles like Majora’s Mask.
When Will The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sequel Be Released?
Till now, there has been no word on when this sequel will make its debut on Nintendo Switch, but fans have some ideas. If a winter 2020 release is not possible then an early 2021 could be the time the game makes its outing. In short, everyone will have to stay tuned as more information comes out regarding this huge sequel.
Remake Of Link’s Awakening
This wasn’t the only big Legend of Zelda news to make the rounds at E3. Nintendo also confirmed that the remake of Link’s Awakening for the Switch will debut in September. An update was also given on Cadence of Hyrule, as the famous indie franchise will meet up with the Legend of Zelda shortly for this crossover in a matter of days as the game will release on June 13.
