With Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece in its final stretch – although it could still take five more years to conclude – the Straw Hat Pirates are closer to their dream than ever. Like his nakama, Sanji has his own dream: finding the All Blue. The All Blue was introduced way back in Chapter 56 of the manga when the Straw Hats were looking for a cook for their ship and they happened to stumble across Baratie, a sea restaurant in the middle of East Blue.

Despite being teased so many times, the All Blue has yet to make an appearance. All that is known about the mysterious place is that it is the only place in the world where the North, South, West, and East Blue meet. Although it hasn’t been revealed yet, there have been a few hints in the series that All Blue exists. During Sanji’s cooking battle in Loguetown, some of the fish that don’t exist in the East Blue were discovered, which only strengthened his resolve to find All Blue.

Just when the Egghead Arc couldn’t get any more chaotic, Dr. Vegapunk proved fans wrong again with a cryptic message in which he threatened to reveal the secret of the world. Nearly five chapters later, Vegapunk’s message threatened to expose the World Government’s true evil plan.

In chapter #1113, Vegapunk begins his message and reveals that the One Piece world is going to sink into the ocean. Although the water levels have been increasing for quite some time, Vegapunk’s message denotes a sense of urgency which implies that the issue might have gotten worse over time, and the ones responsible behind it are the Gorosei and Imu.

The reason the world of One Piece is going to sink can be blamed on the weapon used to destroy Lulusia, which caused a global rise in sea levels. Although it hasn’t been clarified yet, Vegapunk’s message may be a warning against the Five Elders’ plans to conduct a cleansing that could potentially sink the whole world.

@writingpanini on X (formerly Twitter) theorized about the end of One Piece which could end with all the protagonists fulfilling their dreams at the same time. In the theory, the X user rehashes the personal dreams of each nakama of the Straw Hat Pirates.

According to the theory, all dreams are connected and can be fulfilled at the same time by making the world float, which was sunk by the villains in the Great Flood. Prior to that, all land territories were united under one continent, Pangea and one sea, Panthalassa. However, currently, there are four seas divided by one great line called the Red Line.

If the Straw Hat Pirates manage to destroy the Red Line, the world that has sunk will emerge again and everything will return to how it was before. More importantly, the Straw Hats will finally fulfill their dreams. With the return of the ocean Panthalassa, Sanji’s dream of a completely united sea where all species of fish exist. Robin would learn the truth behind the world, Nami would be able to create her ultimate world map, and Brook would be reunited with Laboon.

As for the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates, although their dreams aren’t directly related, defeating Imu seems to be the endgame for all. Luffy would become the King of the Pirates, Zoro has to defeat Dracule Mihawk to become the World’s Greatest Swordsman, Jinbe would fulfill his dream by reuniting humans and the fish-men, Usopp would be recognized as the bravest warrior of the sea, Chopper would become the best doctor in the world.
