The 52 year old Trista Sutter is most famous for being the first runner up at the very first season of The Bachelor. It may seem like that happened ages ago, but Sutter followed the same up by being the lead of the reality show The Bachelorette. Her stints in these shows in an effort to find love shot her to stardom, making her a household name.
Sutter has over 417,000 followers on Instagram which is due to her burgeoning popularity. When fans noticed her posts were far apart in dates and seemed irregular, they began speculating the possible reasons behind the same. As it turns out, Sutter was preparing to be television’s favorite personality once again with Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
The celebrity will be seen on the dangerous reality show that will test her grit and strength in tough situations. Another Bachelor alum will be joining Sutter on the third season of Special Forces along with more renowned faces including reality stars Denise Richards and Brody Jenner, athletes Landon Donovan, Cam Newton, Carey Hart, Alana Blanchard, Marion Jones, Golden Tate, and Nathan Adrian; actors Stephen Baldwin, Christy Carlson Romano, and Kyla Pratt; and influencer Kayla Nicole.

Back in May, Ryan Sutter shared a few posts that made fans wonder what’s going on with the couple. The Sutters met and got engaged on The Bachelorette. They have been happily married for the past 15 years and are parents to two adorable kids. Ryan’s post claimed how he missed his wife and wished he could be near her. However, Sutter allayed the concerns when she announced she is participating in Special Forces. She said on Instagram,
Was it a divorce/nervous breakdown/mid-life crisis/death/trial separation back in May?! Not unless that’s what you call Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, season 3! Thankfully, none of those things are associated with my experience in filming the show, but as you get a glimpse of in the trailer, the angel on my shoulder did have to face some pretty big battles. You’ll have to tune in in January to see the battles play out, but for now, just so grateful to be a part of this epic adventure.
It seems like a huge promotional campaign for Trista to spread the word about her participation in the reality show. Trista said in the podcast back in June too that they couple is very much in love and not separating anytime soon.
Ryan Sutter explained how his comment backfired
While Ryan posted with the best intentions and expressed how he missed his wife, the action took a wrong turn as people misinterpreted it. On a podcast appearance, Sutter explained,
So I was gonna post these things knowing, like, the second she had access to it, she would look at it, and she could see, like, ‘Here’s what happened while you were gone. Here’s how much we missed you.’ It just blew up in my face.
Ryan addressed the rumors and understood how the statements were misconstrued. Trista and Ryan are happy together despite whatever the masses assume. She went on to participate in the show with her family’s support.
