Much like her career, Bundchen’s romantic life has also been in the spotlight, especially after her split with Tom Brady.

The two were married for 13 years before calling it quits in 2022. They have since moved on and went their separate ways. Both Brady and Bundchen have also moved on romantically as they started dating different people soon after the breakup. Before marrying NFL quarterback Tom Brady in 2009, Gisele Bundchen was in a long-term relationship with The Reverent actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Though she went on dates and had flings before DiCaprio as well, he was the first major relationship of hers that garnered widespread attention.

In 1999, Bundchen’s dating history began with businessman João Paulo Diniz and supermodel Scott Barnhill, both of whom dated her for just a couple of months. Bundchen’s relationship with DiCaprio lasted for 6 years before they broke up in 2005. After the split, Bundchen took some time to regain control of her life and shifted towards a healthier lifestyle.

Even though they were great together and had quite a lot of fun, the relationship had run its course in a few years. DiCaprio and Bundchen both learned a lot from their time together which eventually helped them get better in life.

After the divorce from Brady, Bundchen moved on and dated Joaquim Valente. Bundchen took the divorce in her stride and said,

I have [had] incredible experiences, I learned so much. I have my children which are the biggest blessing in my life. Now, I get to create a new season, a new chapter in my life. I get to walk my path in a different way.

The two have seemingly grown pretty serious in the relationship. Valente is a Jiu-Jitsu instructor who she met when her kids went to him for classes. Lately, it has also been reported that Bundchen is pregnant with their first child (Bundchen’s third). In an interview with Vanity Fair, she claimed,

I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure that [people will] try to attach me to anything. I’m so grateful to know [Joaquim and his siblings], because not only have they helped me and helped my kids, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially.

The supermodel is indeed ushering in a new era of her life as she embarks on this chapter with her new beau.
