For months, it has been speculated that Charlie Cox will reprise his role as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home, but a new source claims that the actor will also appear in She-Hulk! Thus, at Animated Times, we publish hard-to-believe rumours that don’t originate from trustworthy sources like the trades, but are nonetheless more credible (just) than what you could read on Reddit. However, popular YouTuber Grace Randolph (who has a spotty track record but recently shared reliable inside information on trailer releases and the Snyder Cut of Justice League) is reporting that Cox will reprise his role as Matt in Disney+’s She-Hulk, and that he will don the horns as a new Daredevil for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This is a rumour that has been going about for a while, but Randolph is the latest individual to “confirm” the news. It makes sense to reintroduce Daredevil in this manner, and we’re not expecting his Netflix exploits to be mentioned in any way if these two appearances take place. Hopefully, the aim is to pave the way for Matt to return in a new film or television series of his own.

Daredevil fans have been waiting to see whether Charlie Cox would ever be brought back into the battle, and She-Hulk may be the perfect opportunity for the popular vigilante to re-enter the fray. The Disney+ series will star Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany as the eponymous character and will revolve around Jennifer Walters (played by Maslany), a lawyer and Bruce Banner’s cousin. Jennifer receives Banner’s Hulk powers after having a blood transfusion from him, but unlike Bruce Banner, Jennifer can keep much of her personality, intelligence, and, critically, emotional control when she hulks out. With Walter’s work as a lawyer setting the tone for the series, there’s no reason not to include Matt Murdock, and no doubt fans will be waiting for him to come in during every courtroom and interrogation room scene. Rumors about Charlie Cox’s comeback as Daredevil have been circulating for quite some time, with the latest rumours (like this one) claiming that he even has a role on the big screen in the upcoming sequel Spider-Man: No Way Home.

When addressing a possible return for Daredevil and the rest of The Defenders, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige poured gasoline on the flames, adding, “Everything is on the board.” “One of the things I liked about comic books was how people would emerge, disappear, and come and go. Everything is a source of inspiration for the future. Those programs have some fantastic characters and actresses. ”
