With Masaki Watanabe’s statement on the anime showing great promise, the fans of the retired hitman can rest at ease and wait for the anime to air. But for the people who don’t seem to know what to expect from the show, here are a few things you should look forward to while watching Sakamoto Days.
What to look out for in the upcoming Sakamoto Days Anime
Sakamoto Days revolves around the protagonist, Taro Sakamoto, a retired hitman who runs a convenience store after settling down. However, unfortunately for the retired hitman, his past life doesn’t stray too far from his retirement. Yuto Suzuki managed to do just the right things to help make his manga stand out from the rest.
Sakamoto Days has quite an interesting cast of characters, with the main character, Taro Sakamoto being a very good protagonist. Though not as complex as most characters, the main character in Yuto Suzuki’s manga is incredibly enjoyable. This is also a reason why Sakamoto Days has a very positive reception from the audience.
One other thing that sets the manga apart from others is the consistency of the aspect of humor. Sakamoto Days doesn’t try too hard to force the moments but still manages to put a smile on the faces of readers as they flip through the pages. The year 2025 seems to be promising for fans of the Shonen Jump, assuming all things go to plan.
