While Episode 7, titled Jurassic Bastard, introduces us to the Lab where Shin grew up, and Episode 8, titled Sakamoto’s vs. the Lab, expands on it by bringing in characters like Dr. Asakura, and Kashima into the mix. This has gotten fans hyped up for the next episode.

Where Episode 8 Left Us Of
Episode 8 of Sakamoto Days opens with Lu meeting Dr. Asakura, who served as the Chief Scientist before Kashima imprisoned him. It’s revealed that Shin’s abilities are a result of an experimental formula developed by him, and once he finds out that Shin is back, he helps Lu to go look for him.
Meanwhile, Sakamoto and Shin engage in a battle with the Leader Horiguchi, and get back to finding Lu, after defeating him using Shin’s abilities. This search team is forced to part ways as Sakamoto falls through a trap door, leaving Shin alone.
As the episode comes to an end, we see that the trapdoor leads Sakamoto to Kashima, where he meets the Order Members, Shishiba and Osaragi.
At the same time, Shin is forced to fight Seba, whose invisibility allows him to get an upper hand on Shin. Right when Seba is about to land a killing blow on our Esper, Heisuke shoots Seba down, using the blood that Shin smeared over him to reveal his position.

Seeing as how Episode 8 ended with Heisuke firing at Seba, we can expect Episode 9 to pick up from here. As seen in the manga, Seba doesn’t go down easily and incapacitates Heisuke, injures one of his arms, and becomes invisible once again.
This is yet another inconvenience, both of them will need to up their game and improve their teamwork to take down the enemy.
The Episode will then perhaps shift to the fight between Sakamoto and Kashima, and depending on the pacing and length of the episode, we might even get to see Kashima’s Boss, and the Leader of X, who is shrouded in mystery.
As the series takes a turn from its slice-of-life-styled episodes to combat-focused ones, it is leaving fans with many questions, and their anticipation is only generating more hype for future episodes.
