The video is totally opposite to the Grand Prairie native’s recent comments about her current boyfriend, music producer Benny Blanco. When asked about Blanco’s public desire to marry and have kids with her, she seemed more cautious — likely influenced by past experiences.

However, the 31-year-old singer has a different perspective now. In a recent interview with TIME, she addressed Benny Blanco‘s public comments (on The Howard Stern Show) about wanting to get married and have kids with her. “He can’t lie to save his life,” the pop-star said with a laugh. “If he’s asked a question, he’ll answer it.”
Despite this, she finds solace in her relationship with Blanco:
He has the strength in him that none of that noise fazes him. It’s really impressive, and I just cherish every moment with him.
The contrast is clear. Back then, Gomez seemed all in for marriage and kids. But when asked about Blanco’s public comments about wanting to marry her and have children, her tone was more reserved.
