“So many people wanting to see us fall”: ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ Star Todd Chrisley Claims He’s Going To Jail Because Of A Conspiracy, Not His Insane $30M Fraud
TV personality Todd Chrisley has revealed that his legal troubles have strengthened his bond with his wife, Julie Chrisley. The two were found guilty of committing fraud and are now sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison. They are all set to head to prison on January 17 to serve their respective prison sentences as the judge denied their request to extend their surrender date on Tuesday.
Despite the legal trouble, the two managed to record a new episode for their podcast, Chrisley Confessions. In the episode, they discussed a variety of topics like family problems, addiction, and faith. The TV star then concluded the episode by explaining that the couple’s own personal problems have been put “out for the world to judge.”

On the latest episode of Chrisley Confessions, Todd Chrisley and his wife, Julie Chrisley, talked about several topics before serving their prison sentences for committing fraud. He explained that the problems he and his wife were going through were put “out for the world to judge.” He said,
“I believe that our pain has been placed for the world to devour, with so many people wanting to see us fall, wanting to see our destruction. But what they didn’t count on was the power of God. They didn’t count on God lifting us up. They didn’t count on God saying, ‘Son, I don’t care how many come against you. Me and you together can take on the world.'”
In November 2022, the couple was sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison.
The couple grew closer because of the legal troubles
The TV personality further added that the legal troubles that they are going through have helped them in spending more time with each other and helped them in bonding together. He said,
“So that’s what our enemies didn’t count on. They didn’t count on that. Our enemies, when they set out to do this certainly did not count on it growing our family closer together. They didn’t count on it driving our children closer to the Lord.” His wife then added, “They didn’t count on how much deeper our relationship was going to go.”
They further said that a lot of “healing” happened in the past few months and they will turn to god going forward.

In June 2022, Todd Chrisley and his wife Julie Chrisley were found guilty on federal charges of bank fraud and tax evasion and submitting false documents to banks to take out loans and fund their lavish lifestyle. In November 2022, Julie Chrisley, who had a lesser role in the fiasco, was sentenced to seven years at Federal Correctional Institution Marianna. While the TV star was sentenced to twelve years at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola.
