Stranger Things 4: Teaser Release Gives A Sneak Peek At New Adventures
It is official. We won’t be seeing any new episodes of Stranger Things in 2021. Netflix has released a brand new 30 seconds teaser for the upcoming installment of the hugely popular supernatural series which has confirmed that Season 4 will be debuting in 2022 and that is at least two and half years after July 2019 release of Season 3.
The new video features classic moments from the first three seasons of Stranger Things mixed with some quick sneak peeks at Season 4 footage and it also includes a glimpse of the new monster, an amusement park and a weirdly creepy old clock. The teaser even aired during NBC’s Tokyo Olympics coverage.
The very first Season 4 trailer, released on February 14th 2020, and it massively teased the return of David Harbour’s character Hopper. The second trailer was focused more on Eleven and was released in May and it hinted at the return of Dr. Marin Brenner which is set to be played by Matthew Modine.
A month after Stranger Things started production of Season 4 in February 2020 it was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic and it resumed last September.
At the end of the last season 3, following the explosion, it was aimed to destroy the Soviet lab to the Upside Down deep under the new Starcourt Mall and Joyce Byers is seen taking her boys and Eleven out of the Indiana town to start a whole new life.
There is a jump in geography in the final scene, which takes place somewhere in USSR where guards are feeding a prisoner to an imprisoned Demogorgon but not the American!
The Duffer brothers said it last year that maybe it is not all good news for American (Hopper), and that he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will be facing all kinds of dangers and back in the USA, a new danger is coming back something which is connected to the past.
AND Season 4 is going to be huge and the most frightening season yet!
Matt and Ross Duffer are the writers, directors, executive proucers and showrunners on the series alongside with others.
