A new TikTok video has been doing rounds on social media for season 4 of Stranger Things. This scene in question is the one between Chrissy and Eddie in volume I – which also turns it into the perfect first alarm of Vol. 1.

After a whole hiatus of three years, Stranger Things came back to Netflix with the first seven episodes of season 4 which debuted back in May. The season premieres with the Upside Down’s new villain, Vecna, a monster capable of telekineses, turning his victims into nothing but human pretzels while they stuck are in a trance-like state.

Season 4 obviously, reacquaints fans with their most-favorite characters even going ahead to introduce newer ones, including Chrissy Cunningham (played by Grace Van Dien), who was Hawkins High’s lead cheerleader and Dungeons & Dragons enthusiast Eddie “The Freak” Munson, played delightfully by Joseph Quinn.

The first chapter: The Hellfire Club” positions the fans with the surroundings that the cheerleader will be the first character to be murdered by Vecna. Haunted by numerous headaches and hallucinations, Chrissy visits Eddie to buy drugs.

Unfortunately, at the end of Stranger Things episode 1 f season 4, finds the two in Eddie’s trailer, with Chrissy stuck in a trance and the latter just trying to wake her up. While the screams of “Chrissy wake up! I don’t like this” didn’t get to Van Dien’s character, they are now surely going to stick in the heads of fans everywhere.

Reddit user Schmoyoho (@schmoyoho) also shared a TikTok video that featured the final scene with Chrissy and Eddie in the final efSTranger Thigs Stranger Things season 4. The video showcases Eddie panicking as usual, remixing it into an alarm for the whole world’s “Chrissys and Chrises.” For those who are unaware of this name, it’s a catchy jingle with more than a million likes.

The internet won’t hesitate in turning would turn Eddie’s internet would turn one of the most traumatic moments of his life, eventually turning it into a viral jingle that now plagues TikTokers all around, like Vecna does his victims.

Considering Stranger Things season 4 is now Netflix’s most-watched English TV show ever within just a month of its premiere, it’s not very surprising that a lot of its moments have been turned into TikToks and memes. After the use of Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill,” TikTokers have even shared the now-popular song that would go on and save them from the curse of Vecna, equating the plans of Eddie’s panic to theirs when the computer freezes.

However, the creators Duffer Brothers have earlier admitted that they regret killing Chrissy in the very first episode 1. However, if she would have lived, a lot of “Chrissys and Chrises” would have to find another way to wake up in the morning.
