Swift is adored by fans for countless reasons. First off, her songs are like little windows into people’s lives, with lyrics that just hit home. Plus, she has this special knack for connecting with her fans in a super genuine way. That is the reason her latest album, which contains 31 tracks, is a total standout. From heartbreak to finding yourself to dealing with fame, she lays it all out there in the most honest way possible.

Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department Surpasses Drake’s Record

Spotify announced that Taylor Swift‘s album The Tortured Poets Department is the first ever to reach one billion streams worldwide in just a week! This incredible achievement proves that the 34-year-old isn’t just a star in the US – she’s a global sensation!

Her album is making waves by racking up a whopping 799 million streams in just six days! That’s way more than Drake‘s previous record of 745 million streams with Scorpion in 2018 (via Forbes).

According to Forbes, some experts believe it might even hit a billion streams in the US alone!  This victory for Swift marks a big change in the fight for who’s on top in streaming music. However, the question is: Will Drake respond with a record-breaking release of his own?

Back in 2018, Drake was ruling the streaming world with his album Scorpion. With a staggering 745 million streams in just one week, that put OVO right at the top. But now, Taylor Swift has taken that crown away.

It’s a clear sign of how much things can change in the world of music streaming and the intense rivalry between these two megastars. Now the question remains: will Aub come out with a new album that breaks records like Tay did?

The Canadian rapper has a long history of responding to challenges with strong releases. So, it’s possible he might come back with a big new release to beat the Lover star record. But we’ll have to wait and see if he can pull it off!

However, Champagne Papi has been facing some serious heat over his now-deleted song (he posted on Instagram a few days ago). It sparked outrage for using artificial intelligence to imitate the voice of the late Tupac Shakur, in which he is dissing Kendrick Lamar. Many see this as disrespectful and wrong. Even 2Pac’s estate threatened to sue Drake over this.
