Supernatural has been spending years building a Biblical apocalypse. Throughout 14 seasons, the Winchesters have come across various situations. They have prevented the end of the world, faced off against the forces of Heaven and Hell, and tried to find God. The Winchesters did not try to find God in a spiritual sense, but through natural means. Now that you recall, it was the fifth season, as we have come a long way since then. The critical factor about Supernatural is that the show is about compelling characters. The CW’s Supernatural will air its fifteenth season on 10 October 2019. The Winchesters will face off against the universe’s most powerful beings. Throughout 14 seasons, the Winchesters have come across angels, demons, and even vampires that have proven to be formidable foes. But they are all pale in comparison to the cosmic threats that will plague the brothers in their final outing. Andrew Dabb, who is the co-showrunner of the series, reveals that God could come out on top and proved to be a challenge for the Winchesters.

Listed below are four of the strongest Cosmic Players on Supernatural:

The Darkness

The Darkness
I was the Beginning and I will be the End.

She is also known as Amara, the Darkness, who is a primordial being preying on both God and Death. For a long time, Darkness could have been a fragment of one’s imagination. This is because of her brother, God, locked her away from the universe along with his army of archangels. She was unleashed on the Earth once Rowena removed the Mark of Cain from Dean. Most of the dominant characters try to take a shot at her. Crowley fetches his demon horde, Rowena enlists a coven of witches, Lucifer calls all the Angels into action, and God himself takes a shot at her. But God is mortally wounded, and Dean shoulders the responsibility to get Amara to stand down in the finale. Amara becomes the more dangerous villain on Supernatural than Lucifer.

God

God
Obviously, I am a God.

God goes by the name Chuck. He plays a critical role in the series for the better part of ten seasons. The character possesses a list of abilities that are more powerful than any other Cosmic entity. But God also has the weaknesses that could overthrow him in this conquest. God is a writer who creating the universe to tell a story and entertain himself, much to the dismay of his sister, the Darkness. The notion of Chuck being both a Prophet of the Lord and God was always a bit dodgy. God also has several enemies that he has to deal with over the years. Throughout the seasons of Supernatural, Chuck has made prominent enemies, which include powerful cosmic entities. So while pledging your allegiance to God in a fight, it’s important to remember that he’s not very well-liked. This means that allies won’t be coming to the rescue.

Death

Death
There’s one hard fast rule in this universe: What Lives, Dies.

The first Death claimed that he would be the one to reap God. This meant that he thought of himself as someone more powerful than the creator of the Earth. This confidence was lacking Billie, playing the role of Death as a different character altogether. Although her role is reliable and resourceful. She does not let anyone escape Death, not even the Winchesters. The only thing she needs to worry about is losing track of her scythe, the weapon that ended her predecessor’s life.

The Empty

The Empty
I will fight you. Fight you and fight you forever. For Eternity.

The Empty also means the void in other words. The Darkness serves as an afterlife for angels and demons. This is the pit where they sleep for the rest of eternity. The Empty is under the control of a Shadow, a cosmic being with immeasurable power. But not much is known about the Empty due to the limited screen time.
