In an unexpected turn of events, a well-known Japanese cosplayer named WANIGUNNSOU on X crossed paths with Norman Reedus from The Walking Dead at Osaka Comic Con, where Reedus was looking for some merchandise of Fire Punch manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto (Chainsaw Man’s mangaka).

This happened when Reedus recently visited Japan to attend the Osaka Comic Con final event. Fans are really shocked to see that the famous The Walking Dead actor is interested in such an underrated manga to the extent that he is looking for its merch.

Norman Reedus Looks for Fire Punch Merchandise in Japan

All this started when a popular Japanese cosplayer,  WANIGUNNSOU, strangely met Norman Reedus from The Walking Dead at Osaka Comic Con. The cosplayer was in Akihabara on some business when he suddenly bumped into Reedus.

Reedus was searching for merchandise of Fire Punch in Osaka Comic Con but couldn’t find any there. So, the cosplayer took him to Mandarake, as it was the best place where they could have found Fire Punch merch.

According to the cosplayer, Reedus showed him a picture of Fire Punch on his phone and asked him if he knew it. The cosplayer has been a fan of Reedus ever since he saw him as The Punisher in Iron Man: Rise Of Technovore, so he was really shocked to meet him.

We don’t know if Reedus got the merch he was looking for, as It’s really rare to get Fire Punch merch even in Japan because the manga is so underrated that Shueisha would have hardly made any merch of it.

Manga fans were really surprised to hear that Norman Reedus might be interested in Fire Punch. Since Fire Punch isn’t quite popular among manga readers, the news that a famous actor might enjoy it has excited many fans.

Some fans believe that Norman Reedus’s interest in Fire Punch could bring a larger audience to the manga. Knowing that a well-known actor enjoys the series to the extent that he is looking for its merchandise, might bring interest for the manga readers to check it out once.
