A recent YouTube video (by BleacherReport) showed the heart-warming moment. A bodybuilder, mid-set, stops everything as Arnold Schwarzenegger walks by. The caption in the video reads, “The only person I will let interrupt my set.” This act of respect has earned the bodybuilder lots of praise online, showing the huge respect Arnie has in the bodybuilding world.

A fan wrote, “The world stops when the goat walks.”

Another chimed in, “When your doing sidequests but accidentally encounter the final boss.”

The third commented, “Oh look its Arnold “F your freedoms” Schwartzenegger.”

Schwarzenegger is the perfect example of bodybuilding greatness. With seven Mr. Olympia titles to his name, he ruled the bodybuilding world in the 1970s and 80s. His chiseled body, with its amazing size and perfect look, set the bar for anyone dreaming of becoming a bodybuilder. But his influence went beyond just winning trophies.

The former Governor of California made bodybuilding famous with his charismatic personality and his starring role in the 1977 documentary Pumping Iron. This film inspired countless people to lift weights. At 76, The Hollywood star still follows a tough workout routine, which shows that dedication and passion never get old.

Arnold Schwarzenegger reassured gym-goers who are worried about a new study. According to the study, drinking right after working out might be bad for muscle growth. However, in his newsletter, Arnold’s Pump Club, the Austrian Oak said:

Although the study did find that boozing after your workout can potentially reduce muscle growth by 25 percent, the participants who saw a reduction in muscle protein synthesis had twelve (12!) drinks after their workout.

This means that it only applies to those who seriously overdo it. He continued:

Based on what we know, if you infrequently have a drink (and limit how much alcohol you consume), you can still build muscle effectively.

The bottom line is that when it comes to fitness and health, balance is king, as always. While Schwarzy said a drink here and there is fine, he’s not stating booze is good for everything. It can mess with your sleep, for example.
