DeMarco Morgan replaced T.J. Holmes
It seems like DeMarco Morgan, who was a temporary replacement, will soon permanently take T.J. Holmes‘ place on GMA3 following Holmes’ relationship with Amy Robach. The local New York newsman was hired after ABC news found out about T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach’s relationship, the two worked together on GMA3.
Sources claim that Morgan loves “the job he’s doing,” and, “everyone thinks he’s been really great.” He was also recently spotted celebrating with GMA3 executive producer Cat Mckenzie at Plug Uglies, an Irish pub in New York’s Gramercy Park area. DeMarco Morgan and Rhiannon Ally are doing a good job
Despite not having the best chemistry like Holmes and Robach, DeMarco Morgan and Rhiannon Ally are reportedly doing a good job. A source revealed that “the ratings have been steady. The numbers are good.” The source further added,
“DeMarco and Rhiannon aren’t screwing on the weekend and then coming to work on Monday, so, of course, they’re not going to have the same energy as T.J. and Amy.”
T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are still not officially removed from the show, a decision is yet to be taken by the creators of the show.
The couple have hired professional lawyers
T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach haven’t been on the air since early December. They were replaced with several fill-in news personalities as the ABC president Kim Godwin said that their relationship was too much of a “distraction” for viewers. It has been revealed that the couple “hired lawyers to deal with [negotiating].” Amy Robach has hired civil attorney Andrew Brettler to represent her while T.J. Holmes is working with Eric George. While their exit from the show is yet to be confirmed, the two have been spotted together publicly multiple times.
