With threats everywhere, viewers are always tense, guessing who might be the next to go. This week’s episode gave a bit of hope for A-Train (a speedster with questionable morals in The Seven). However, it also made fans worry he might be facing his end soon.

A-Train (played by Jessie T. Usher) started trying to be better in The Boys. In Season 3, we saw a different side of him after his brother was paralyzed by the racist cop Blue Hawk.

This season, A-Train has been trying to redeem himself. He is no longer in trouble with The Seven since Ashley found another scapegoat for the Vought leak. It gave him some breathing room. But he’s not finished assisting The Boys just yet.

This week’s episode 6 showed a hopeful moment. Kimiko convinces A-Train to rush a hurt Mother’s Milk to the hospital. As he brings MM in on a stretcher, a young boy sees him and looks up to him with admiration. This real act of heroism is so different from A-Train’s past. Even A-Train feels a sense of fulfillment he has probably never felt before.

Tragic Fate Looms for A-Train in The Boys

Despite the touching moment, many fans are now worried. The Boys has a history of killing off characters who betray Homelander (played by Antony Starr), making viewers think A-Train’s heroism might spell his end. After all, Homelander has a ruthless streak, having already eliminated those who defied him, like his ex-lover Madelyn Stillwell and close confidante Black Noir.

So, what if he finds out A-Train is secretly helping his nemeses? Fans have mixed feelings over this. Some think the scene hints at a tragic end for A-Train. They see it as a “death sign.” Check out some fan reactions:

Others are hoping for a spin. They believe A-Train should have a chance to redeem himself without sacrificing his life. Even if the end is written in A-Train’s fate, it has to be less tragic than Billy Butcher’s (Karl Urban), who is dealing with a serious illness from using Temp V too much. Sadly, he’s expected to pass away soon because of it.
