Previously making headlines for being stingy tippers, Lopez and Affleck were slyly attacked by the 62-year-old actor on public television.
Claiming to carry $100 bills to express his generosity towards his waiters and service providers, John Leguizamo made some haughty comments. Dissing the newlywed couple, the actor indirectly alleged the notion of bad tippers being “cheapskates”. John Leguizamo Claims To Be A Generous Tipper
John Leguizamo, currently starring in the sci-fi series The Power, appeared for an interview with Good Morning America. During Wednesday’s episode, Leguizamo flaunted carrying $100 bills in his pockets, as tips. Claiming to be quite generous, the actor stated, “Come on, this ain’t the ’70s”. Expressing his concern, the Mario actor claimed, “You can’t tip with $20 bills. People are going to throw that back at you”.
Subtly hinting at the infamous couple of Hollywood, who have been called out before for being stingy tippers, John Leguizamo allegedly dissed Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. Hinting at the couple’s mingy attitude, the 62-year-old mentioned, “You’ve got to give back”. Explaining the reason for being a generous tipper, the actor pointed out, “If people are giving you their best service, and you don’t tip them? Come on, who are you?”
Indirectly slamming Lopez and Affleck, Leguizamo claimed, “I’m not a cheapskate”. Thus, carrying generous $100 bills in his pocket, the actor flaunted his benevolent nature. Further, he went on to discuss his new TV series The Power, and its plot, which is expected to glue the audience to the screen.
Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez Slammed For Being Stingy Tippers
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, the infamous Hollywood couple have been previously making headlines for their tight hands. Despite having a $550M fortune, service providers who have worked for the couple, claimed Affleck was a decent tipper while Lopez kept snatching the money. Lopez and Affleck, famously known for their endearing performance somehow got labeled as stingy tippers.
Severely roasted for being poor tippers to their service workers, the pair were recreated into comical TikTok videos. Now it has been months since the big little internet joke resurfaced after John Leguizamo allegedly slammed the couple. Banned from hotels and casinos for being “rude and stingy” TikTokers came out to diss the couple. A server claimed “[Lopez] tells [Affleck] not to tip. He doesn’t tip anymore, baby! You don’t need to tell him nothing, he ain’t doing it”, recalling their experience as servers to the couple.
Several service workers came out to detail the notorious habit of the celebrity couple when it comes to tipping. Rumors started building up and Lopez and Affleck started getting slammed for their indecent habit.
