“Tony Stark showing up to an Avengers meeting”: Fans Mock Apple Vision Pro Users to Think Themselves as Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man
Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark aka Iron Man is easily one of the most iconic characters across the Marvel Cinematic Universe. An integral part of pop culture, the character is referenced from time to time. Certainly, this is not unprecedented, but viral videos often end up giving people a good laugh.
A video of an Apple Vision Pro user getting out of their car is making rounds on the internet, which has made them a laughing stock on the internet.
An Apple Vision Pro User Mocked For Being A Tony Stark Wannabe
Apple Inc. launched a mixed-reality headset named Apple Vision Pro in June 2023. The product was launched on February 2, 2024, in the United States and is yet to be launched worldwide. It is a first-generation product by Apple and the first major product category since the launch of the Apple Watch in 2015.
Robert Downey Jr.’s cadence, mannerisms, and overall personality are heavily cosplayed. However, not all cosplayers are well-executed or even intentional. One Apple Vision Pro user was mocked for what fans believe was his way of cosplaying the unanimously favorite Avenger.
Memes make the internet. And netizens rarely pass up the possibility of turning anything and everything into one. And this one video of some guy owning a cybertruck, getting off his car wearing highly futuristic goggles, and acting slightly weird has made for wonderful comedy.
In a video posted by The Cybertruck Guy (@cybrtrkguy) on X (formerly Twitter), someone can be seen getting out of their car wearing Apple Vision Pro Glasses and moving animatedly. This behavior is somehow akin to Tony Stark’s. This bizarre similarity was not lost on eagle-eyed X users. And their comments were nothing short of hilarious.

Fans Had A Field Day With The Viral Video
After the video was posted, it ended up on a different side of the social media platform and caused hilarious chaos. Intended for the high-tech enthusiasts, but ended up on the Marvel meme side of the app. One of the fans labeled the video as: “Tony Stark showing up to an Avengers meeting”
Following are some of the comments made on the video:

Someone random being pretentious or celebrities being outrageous, X users can always be counted on for a good round of laughter.
That being said, Robert Downey Jr.’s performance as Tony Stark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is one that is going to stay in people’s minds for decades to come. Even Jon Favreau, the director of Iron Man, and David Maisel have claimed that Downey Jr. is the perfect actor to play Iron Man.
Maisel even went as far as convincing the board to cast the Chaplin star because they did not want to put the future of the studio into a former drug addict. It is safe to say the Oppenheimer actor has not disappointed anyone who stood up for him at the time.
