During one of his final interviews, Liotta recalled passing on the role of Batman.
Michael Keaton stars as the iconic Batman in Tim Burton's 1989 rendition.
However, in an interview released after his passing, Ray Liotta, the renowned actor from Goodfellas, revealed that he had been offered the same role but opted not to take it.
"My agent called me up and said, 'Tim Burton would like to meet you. He’s doing a movie, Batman,'" Liotta recalled.
Back at the time of release of Batman, it's accurate to say that superhero films were not in fashion, making it a risk for Liotta to take on the lead role in a Batman movie.
Nicolas Cage is another actor who is now famously known to have missed out on the superhero role in a Tim Burton film.
