Grande and Slater’s relationship might have begun at an unconventional time, but they are reportedly getting stronger than ever. In fact, recent reports suggest that they might end up taking a big step to take their relationship to the next level this Christmas.

Sources Claim Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater May End Up Getting Engaged Soon

Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater were married to different people when they began working on Wicked. While Grande was married to real estate agent Dalton Gomez, Slater was married to high school sweetheart, Lilly Jay. However, they both got divorced later and the first reports of their relationship began swirling in July 2023.

It has been more than a year now and they have only become Instagram official recently when Grande posted a picture of them taken from the behind. Recently, a source told Life & Style magazine that the couple is planning to get married next year.

Ariana is madly in love and very eager to marry Ethan. It’s just a matter of timing it right. His divorce was finalized [in September], so he’s free to marry her and they’ve both been talking quite openly about how they plan to spend forever together.

The insider has also said that a Christmas proposal is on the books because she “has been dropping loud hints” that she wants a ring as her gift. Additionally, the source has stated that Grande is planning to have babies.

She’s talking about their future kids a lot. So that’s something that will likely happen before long as well. [Ethan] does have a child already so she’s had the chance to try out the stepmom role and she says she loves it.

Since her wedding with Dalton Gomez happened at her home in Montecito, California, she missed her chance to have a big wedding. The source noted that this time there will be a “big princess wedding” and then the couple will have babies because Grande has a traditional mindset.

Since Grande and Slater got together around the same time as their separation from their previous spouses, people got suspicious about the timing and began accusing them of cheating. This was especially true for Slater because he had had a baby with his wife in 2022 and filed for divorce the next year just days after the reports of his relationship with the 7 Rings singer hit the news.
