Breaking the hearts of all superhero fans, CW’s Arrow is finally coming to an end with its eighth and final season. But this end has brought fears of other Arrowverse shows ending as well. If you were worrying about your favorite Arrowverse show ending then don’t. CW President Mark Pedowitz has said something which will allay your fears.

Mark Pedowitz Says That Other Arrowverse Shows Aren’t Ending Soon

At the CW’s Television Critics Association Press Tour panel, CW President Mark Pedowitz confirmed that The Flash, Supergirl and DC’S Legends of Tomorrow will continue for the time being. He said:

“We believe in these franchises. This universe will continue for many many years. Hopefully it will be a long time from now before discussions about ending these series will happen.”

Arrow will finish its run with ten new episodes. The end will coincide with the upcoming ” Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover. It is an adaptation of the DC Comics event of the same name, which will also be a continuation of the 2018 “Elseworlds” crossover.

Along with the current shows airing as part of the Arrowverse, new shows like Batwoman are all set to join in. Other shows which air on CW Seed like Vixen and Freedom Fighters: The Ray along with printed material, including tie-in comics and books will also be there. As per Pedowitz this kind of content will stay on The CW.

Crisis on Infinite Earths begins Sunday, December 8 at 8 PM ET/PT on Supergirl, then continues on Batwoman on Monday and The Flash comes next on Tuesday. After the winter hiatus, the crossover will conclude on Tuesday, January 14 in Arrow at 8 PM ET/PT and in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow at 9 PM ET/PT.
