Set Photos Show Nick Fury’s Pic Throughout The Secreat Invasion
A handful of photographs from the set of Disney+’s Secret Invasion have emerged in recent weeks, providing fans their first looks at the show:
A number of photographs from the set of Disney+’s Secret Invasion have surfaced in recent weeks, providing spectators with the first look at the program and what it has in store. One of the most recent programs has Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role as former director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury, with a new appearance. A snapshot circulating on social media shows Jackson in costume as Nick Fury striding down the street, minus his distinctive eyepatch and wearing a reasonably thick beard. The graphic provides few to no specifics about Fury’s position in the new series or what he will be doing. Despite his civilian clothes, it is doubtful that he will be portrayed as living a civilian life exclusively.
Fury’s new design was previewed in a short image during a montage of upcoming episodes on Disney+ Day in 2021:

Fury’s new design was previewed in a short image during a montage of upcoming episodes on Disney+ Day in 2021. The Secret Invasion set shot, on the other hand, is the first time spectators have seen the whole cast. The Disney+ Day video also showed the series’ revised logo, which includes elements hinting at the Skrulls’ participation. Little is known about the narrative or how it will relate to the huge comic book event of the same name. The comic book crossover event was released in 2008 by writer Brian Michael Bendis and illustrators Leinil Francis Yu, Mark Morales, and Laura Martin. The Secret Invasion delves into the discovery that many of Earth’s superheroes and characters have been replaced by shape-shifting Skrulls as part of a bigger invasion following the destruction of the Skrull homeworld, which had been predicted. It’s unclear how closely the planned Disney+ series will follow the comic book crossover’s characters and events.
Along with Jackson, Cobie Smulders will reprise her role as Agent Maria Hill in the new season:
Along with Jackson, Cobie Smulders will return as Agent Maria Hill, who was revealed to be a Skrull in Spider-Man: Far From Home. The true Agent Hill’s location remains unknown. Ben Mendelsohn, who played the Skrull Talos in Captain Marvel and Far From Home, appears with them. The series is currently in production, but recent sources indicate that Secret Invasion is nearly done. Jackson has disclosed that production on the series began as early as October. The series does not yet have a premiere date, but it is expected to be sometime in 2022. It’s worth mentioning that, according to a recent report, the series has been dropped from Marvel Studios’ 2022 release schedule. This has not been confirmed officially. The speculation is based on the fact that a new Marvel Japan poster and list does not feature Secret Invasion or the previously announced What If…? Season 2.
