The film, based on a Korean love story, tells the tale of a man on a desperate quest through time and space to find his lost love. However, he already has several other projects in the works. The 56-year-old is also interested in some sci-fi mysteries. He might be directing Rendezvous With Rama, based on a book by Arthur C. Clarke. Plus, there’s Dune: Messiah, which picks up the story after his latest movie Dune: Part Two.
And to top it all off, there’s I’m Waiting For You, a whole new project that sounds like a love story that travels through time! With all these movies on the go, the Canadian filmmaker seems to have a jam packed schedule.

It’s a valid concern – making movies takes a lot of time and effort, and juggling multiple projects at once can be difficult. But other fans are staying positive. They know Villeneuve is a perfectionist who likes every detail to be just right.
