Travis Kelce seems to be having the time of his life at his popstar girlfriend Taylor Swift’s concerts. The couple have been in love for quite a few months now and things have been going mighty well if how lovey-dovey they appear in every one of their public sightings is anything to go by.
It is no news that Kelce attends Swift’s concerts because it is hard for him to not end up in one of the hundreds of videos that surface online after each of the shows. That said, what some might not have expected is watching the football star vibe along to songs that the songstress wrote for her ex-boyfriends, specifically the most recent ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
Travis Kelce Vibes Along to All of Taylor Swift’s Songs with No Qualms Whatsoever
It is no secret that Taylor Swift writes songs about her partners, ex-partners, friends, and even some very public conflicts, which she has admitted to have affected her personally. She is no exception because most artists draw inspiration from their personal lives, whether it is a moment of celebration or something that they struggled with.
Although Swift hardly ever confirms what or whom her songs are about, her eagle-eyed fans never miss spotting the subtle (and sometimes, not so subtle) references. Her seventh studio album Lover featured numerous songs about a partner, and the title track (the third track on the album) has been known to be about Joe Alwyn, her ex-boyfriend of six years.
However, her new beau Travis Kelce pulled a Chad move as he seemed to be unbothered about it. He sang along to the song during one of Swift’s concerts in London in this video posted on Instagram. In addition to Lover, he was seen dancing and singing along to other songs like Shake It Off and Karma (in which Swift often refers to Kelce by singing: “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs“). One of the fans pointed out in the comments:

Kelce’s actions become that much more noticeable because although Alwyn attended Swift’s concerts during the Reputation Tour, he did not appear to be vibing along to all of the songs with this kind of enthusiasm, which might or might not have been because some of them were about her ex-boyfriends and also because he has always been much more private about the relationship and even as an individual.
The Beginning of Travis Kelce’s Relationship With Taylor Swift Is One for the Books
Swift’s breakup with Alwyn after six years came as a shock to millions. Luckily, Kelce soon took over the “blank space” in her life. In July 2023, the Kansas City Chiefs player was spotted at an Eras Tour concert in Arrowhead Stadium (via X).
Later, in an episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, hosted by the football star and his brother Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce said:
I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings. If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.
Then, no one could have imagined that this ardent fan of Swift’s was actually going to end up dating her and that’s exactly what happened. Dating rumors began swirling, but it was not until September 2023 that the duo was spotted together in a video on Instagram, and that too leaving the Arrowhead Stadium after a match between Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears. The rest, as they say, is history.
