1 Fan-Made Alternative Ending for Blake Lively’s Ladypool Cameo Could’ve Made ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ 10x Funnier

It has been almost two weeks since Deadpool & Wolverine waltzed onto the big screens with its ensemble cast and amazing cameos. One of these cameos was from Ladypool, voiced by Deadpool star’s wife, Blake Lively.
While the cameo from Lively was enough to freak fans out, some of them have also come up with a different ending that would have made the movie much more funnier. The Merc with the Mouth is known for his fourth-wall-breaking humor, which Reynolds made sure to get Marvel to agree upon. So, it would have been rather hilarious if things had gone the way these fans suggested.
Fans Have Come Up With an Interesting Take on the Ladypool Cameo
Some fans have come up with an alternative ending for the cameo. Daniel Merrifield, the host of The Movie Dweeb sat down with Nathan Aspell about a week ago to discuss how the cameo could have been more fun. Merrifield suggested that Ladypool could strut out of the smoke while Deadpool is wondering about her identity aloud.
She would remove the mask to reveal that it is Lively, and then she would break completely her character.
And be like, ‘Ryan, mate, like the kids haven’t seen you in two, 2 and a 1/2 years. You need to wrap this film up.’ He’s just like pulling the script up like, ‘Your line is like, ‘Hey, Deadpool.”
He further suggested that Lively would go that the only way to bring Reynolds back home was to get on the set, put on the suit, and ask him to go back home to his kids otherwise it would be a divorce.
Aspell then suggested that Deadpool would then say that Wolverine’s lines were next, and Merrifield added that Lively would walk off the set informing him that her lawyers would be contacting his lawyers. Merrifield also commented that the cameo could have been used in a much better way.
Blake Lively Extended Her Support to Ryan Reynolds on the Movie
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have been couple goals for years. Whether it is walking the Met Gala red carpet or giving each other a hand in their projects, they have been each other’s biggest cheerleaders. No wonder they both are so successful at everything they do.
Deadpool & Wolverine is no exception, as while Reynolds has made countless contributions to the film apart from portraying the character, Lively has also made sure to do whatever she could. This included her voicing the character ofLadypool among other things, like the millennial references that she helped with, as Reynolds revealed on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.
However, her scenes were not exactly much fun apart from the adrenaline rush about her identity, which is not revealed because she does not remove the mask. Then, a fight between Deadpool, Wolverine, and the numerous other variants of Deadpool ensues.
