Taylor Swift broke her record for the most victories at this particular award event by winning nine of the 11 VMAs she was nominated for. She thanked her fans for their love and support during her acceptance speech on stage.
Shakira won everyone over with her medley
Shakira is unrivaled when it comes to 10-minute song-and-dance medleys. She won over the crowd by performing hits like She Wolf, Te Felicito, Objection (Tango), Whenever, Wherever and Hips Don’t Lie. What became a highlight of her show was the incredible crowd surf. The singer even won the 2023 Video Vanguard Award.

The WAP colleagues returned and gave fans the first live rendition of their most seductive duet, Bongos.
