The 78-year-old Maggie May singer has been reportedly warned by doctors from singing ever again. Stripping a singer like Rod Stewart from his passion is a nightmare. However, the graveness of his infection seemingly deteriorating, forced the doctors to restrain Stewart from damaging his vocal cords any further by engaging in singing.
Sources revealed, “Rod prides himself on being a trouper and a troubadour. He’s hardly ever missed a show in his career,”. However, after a recent diagnosis, the singer was forced to cancel his 17th March Australia appearance. “Rod’s biggest nightmare is losing his voice. Now, he fears his voice will give out before the rest of his body” insiders revealed heartbreaking information.
Discussing his previous battles against cancer, sources mentioned, “Even while going through cancer twice, Rod kept an upbeat attitude, but when it comes to singing, he prays for good fortune every night.” Despite being in constant fear of losing his graceful voice forever, Stewart maintained his lively attitude. Emphasizing “not retiring” the 78-year-old shared with DailyMail, “I still love singing, I just want to do something new. I might do a few folk clubs playing guitar. Just be different.”
