1. Yellowstone
First, we have Yellowstone. The final episodes were delayed for months, but a premiere date has finally been set. The episodes will air on November 10, 2024, following the resolution of the strikes and Kevin Costner’s official departure from the show. Kelly Reilly told EW that when creator Taylor Sheridan first imagined Yellowstone, he had a plan for five seasons.

2. The Boys
Next up is The Boys. This wild Amazon show is ending after its fifth season, which will be released in 2026. Showrunner Eric Kripke shared the news on X in June 2024, just ahead of the fourth season’s release. He always envisioned a five-season journey for the show.

3. Blue Bloods
Blue Bloods is finishing up after 14 seasons. This cop family drama with Tom Selleck has been a long ride, but budget issues are bringing it to a close (via Deadline). Can you believe it’s almost 300 episodes? The final season of Blue Bloods premiered on October 18 at 10 PM on CBS.

4. Arcane
Then there’s Arcane, the amazing Netflix series that’s also ending this year. Its second and final season will drop in three parts on November 9, 16, and 23.
Fans love its animation and story. Who knew a video game could turn into such great TV? There are more stories in the same universe, but this one is closing up.

5. The Witcher
Now, let’s chat about The Witcher. Our monster-hunting hero is saying goodbye with its fifth season. Liam Hemsworth will take over as Geralt, and they’re filming both the fourth and fifth seasons back-to-back.
Filming for season 4 of The Witcher started in April 2024 and should finish by October 31, 2024. The last season is expected to come out in 2025.
