6 Small Details About Marvel Women We All Failed To Noticed !
Marvel Cinematic Universe is jam-packed with strong women. We have seen so much with Steve through Peggy and Tony through Pepper. But our heroes would have had a tough time defeating Thanos and saving the Earth without the help of Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, and Shuri.
Here are some small details about Marvel women that make them much more impressive.
1. Shuri Managed To Invent A Communication Device That Had Unlimited Range.
The Avengers should consider themselves super lucky to have Shuri. She is one of the smartest people not just on the planet but probably in the entire galaxy. Of course it probably not that important Cap could hear Sam, but the fact they were able to communicate with each other all the way from Wakanda, was all thanks to Shuri.
2. Frigga Had Managed To Hint At Hela’s Existence Way Back In “Thor”
Asgard has deeper secrets than all of us can expect and there is more to Thor than the amount of Norse mythology behind the character. Way back in Thor movie, Odin had lied and we found out the truth in Thor: Ragnarok. In the scene, Queen Frigga becomes a bit uncomfortable when Odin stated that Thor is his firstborn child.
3. The Ancient One Wore Hood To Deceive Everyone!
Fans were introduced to a new world during Doctor Strange. At the beginning of the film, the Ancient One was wearing her hood while she bends matter freely in order to stop Kaecilius. The hood was to cover her forehead to hide the fact that she was channeling power from the Dark Dimension (the same was revealed later) and that is exactly why Kaecilius called her a hypocrite.
4. Only Black Widow Could Have Stopped Whiplash’s Interference
Black Widow’s debut in Iron Man 2 was a crucial one, especially against the Russians. In the movie, Justin Hammer’s tech guy couldn’t fix Vanko’s hacks because it was in a different language and Justin suggested trying Russian. But later, Black Widow was able to un-hack Rhodey’s War Machine since she can understand Russian and code in that language too.
5. Hela Grew More Powerful The Longer She Was On Asgard
Hela is one of the most powerful villains of MCU but she is more than just her strength. In the movie Thor: Ragnorok, when Hela came back to Asgard (which is the source of power), the rips on her costume then disappear and the grooves across her body went on to change the color from dull silver to shining green.
6. Wanda’s Hair Keeps On Getting Lighter As She Becomes A Hero
Watching Wanda’s transaction from a villain to an Avenger in Age of Ultron was one of the best and heartwarming moments in the MCU. And her transaction was honestly amazing to watch. In the MCU, Scarlet Witch’s hair went on to become lighter from her darker hair when she had first appeared. The same was a reference to her character’s arc from an antagonist to an Avenger.
