While MCU villains like Thanos and Killmonger were tough to vanquish, other Marvel villains were very simple to defeat. It’s not like every comic book villain will meet their maker with the type of spectacular finale befitting cinema’s finest baddies-for example, the Joker of DC’s Dark Knight flicks was never given a genuine ending-and occasionally villains meet their makers with a twist so In a battle, Loki had no chance against the Hulk. Cull Obsidian managed to lose three battles and die twice in just two flicks! Sometimes, adversaries are just robbed of their Hans Gruber moment in the spotlight. Thus, we at Animated Times thought, why not compile a list of villains from the Marvel Cinematic Universe Who Went Out With A Whimper. Sounds interesting? If yes, then let’s hop into the list down below to find out who these villains were and how they fell with a bang.

8. Ulysses Klaue Didn’t Have A Chance Against A Real Villain:

Ulysses Klaue may have been able to steal vibranium from Wakanda when he was younger, but by the time he made an appearance in the MCU, he was definitely not functioning at the same level. After having his arm chopped off by Ultron in his first appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Klaue’s second appearance in Black Panther didn’t go so well: he was knocked off by Killmonger as a sacrifice to allow T’Challa’s cousin Andy Serkis was excellent in the part, but Klaue never lived up to his full potential.

7. Loki Got Rag-Dolled Without The Chitauri To Protect Him:

When Loki uses his wits, he possesses a bag of tactics that make him a formidable villain. When he’s flexing his muscles? Not at all. Take, for example, everyone’s favourite scene from The Avengers. The Hulk actually flails him about like a ragdoll, leaving the Asgardian villain so battered that he can’t move. “Puny god,” for sure.

6. Justin Hammer’s Big Moment Ended In Total Disgrace:

There may not be a more depressing MCU villain than Justin Hammer. Hammer, the string-puller behind all of Whiplash’s mayhem in Iron Guy 2, had his big moment onstage at the Stark Expo ruined by the exact man he allowed. He was apprehended by Black Widow and S.H.I.E.L.D. after his catastrophic appearance in front of the flashing lights.

5. Alexander Pierce Didn’t Have A ‘Plan B’ When He Lost Black Widow As A Hostage:

Alexander Pierce was a skilled double agent who rose through the ranks of S.H.I.E.L.D. while covertly working for Hydra the entire time. While Pierce certainly had huge intentions and could connive with the best of them, when Black Widow ruined his backup plan during the finale of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, he had no response and was capped by his old buddy, Nick Fury.

4. Dormammu Had A Temper Tantrum While Stuck In A Time Loop Before Giving Up:

“Dormammu! I’ve come to bargain. ” Doctor Strange’s repeated statement when caught in a time loop with the Dark Dimension’s ruler serves as the foundation for one of the film’s greatest scenes. One of Doctor Strange’s most formidable adversaries from the pages of Marvel Comics is defeated by a simple (but not so easy) technique, and Doctor Strange benefits as a result.

3. Ronan The Accuser Lost In A Dance Battle:

Are you truly that terrific of a villain if you’re as easily thrown as Ronan was by Star-awful Lord’s dancing at the conclusion of Guardians of the Galaxy? He wasn’t even quick enough to capture the Power Stone after Drax knocked it loose from his weapon while the Kree terrorist was enthralled by Chris Pratt’s awe-inspiring dancing routines. Talk about humiliating.

2. The Vulture Ended Up Needing To Be Saved By Spider-Man:

The Vulture, played by Michael Keaton, is one of the most iconic villains in the MCU so far, but his arrest at the conclusion of Spider-Man: Homecoming was a letdown. Is there anything more humiliating for a villain than having to be rescued by a hero when your great scheme goes wrong? Look at that expression: even the Vulture is dissatisfied with himself.

1. Ultron Was Unceremoniously Destroyed By Vision While In A Weakened State:

Sure, Ultron had his huge showdown with all of his robot minions and the Avengers during the Battle of Sokovia, but it wasn’t his final act. No, he died at the hands of Vision after he had already failed. Ultron is blown to oblivion by the creature he helped create after some pontification between the two artificial intelligences about the status of mankind and Earth. It’s like biting the hand that feeds you.

So, yeah, these are the8 MCU Villains Who Fell With a Bang. What can I say, these characters had so much potential in them as villains against the Marvel heroes, but despite that, Kevin Feige used them just recklessly, thus they went out with a whimper. So what do you people think? Do you agree with us that if Marvel had used these characters more effectively, then it would have completely made the Marvel movies even more interesting to watch?
