The tabloid favorite ex-royal couple Meghan Markle and Prince Harry never fail to be in the media spotlight. After their exit from the royal family, the couple has been making headlines with respect to their financial status. According to the Daily Mail, Meghan Markle “may be on the brink of signing a major deal with French couture house Dior to make her a face of the company,” but the media outlet Page Six Style has reported that there has been no such multi-million dollar deal in work.
A spokesperson from the ex-royal couple’s end similarly told The Telegraph the claims were completely baseless and untrue, with a Dior source. The spokesperson even added that the globally recognized brand’s team of representatives was “nonplussed as to how the story came about.”
The Daily Mail’s report was brought to light days after Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry went on to part ways with Spotify after signing a deal worth $20 million with the reputed audio streamer in 2020. According to an input provided by a reputed Beverly Hills socialite to the Daily Mail-
“There have been rumors for weeks that [Markle’s] about to sign a deal with Dior which has put the gossip mill into overdrive. If she pulls that off, then no one will remember that her silly little podcast got canceled after one season.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are fans of the brand and have also been spotted wearing Dior, multiple times. Meghan Markle is rumored to have worn all the beauty products from Dior Beauty on her wedding day. She went on to go for a navy fit-and-flare frock dress from Dior for a Royal Air Force event in 2018. She had worn a cream-colored Dior Haute Couture gown during her tour of Morocco in 2019 and a white coat dress and hat from the globally recognized label for a thanksgiving service during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
Meghan Markle also opted for Dior during her son, Prince Archie’s christening in 2019 and even wore a Stephen Jones for Dior hat for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022. Prince Harry had worn a three-piece Dior suit on his father King Charles’s coronation in May 2023.

It has already been confirmed that Meghan Markle hosted Archetypes on Spotify and will not get to see the second season. The 20 million dollar deal that was made between the globally recognized music platform and the royal couple’s Archewell foundation has been ended prematurely giving rise to speculations and rumors. It was shared by a joint statement that both the parties had- “mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together.”
According to an insider, the ex-royal couple would not stop making content, until and unless they end up getting a better deal with some other company. However, the controversy surrounding the fallout of the deal happened when the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex started contemplating the deal due to American commentator Joe Rogan.
