Star Wars’ upcoming limited series, Ahsoka, joins a lineup of thrilling new Star Wars TV shows. Recent reports indicate that Ahsoka will witness the return of Anakin Skywalker, portrayed by Hayden Christensen, in an intense battle on the fiery planet Mustafar.
Exciting Duel in Ahsoka Series: Ahsoka vs. Darth Vader
As we learned, the comeback of Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, aka Anakin Skywalker, in the upcoming Ahsoka series. This heightens the excitement of witnessing Ahsoka and Darth Vader’s duel from Star Wars Rebels recreated in live-action. During the climactic battle, Ahsoka sees herself assisting Obi-Wan Kenobi in battling against Anakin in Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. As MakingStarWars.net, via Bespin Bulletin, reveals, “They filmed a sequence where Ahsoka sees herself on Mustafar fighting Hayden Christensen’s Darth Vader before he’s in the suit. They will be including new scenes,” the source continues.
They had a dummy for a dead Kenobi, and they had clothes for a dead Kenobi. They had two ideas there. One is that Anakin literally kills Kenobi in that fight, where Ahsoka and Kenobi confront Darth Vader. Another is that he turns into a pile of clothes just like he always did; he becomes one with the Force at that time in the narrative.”
Additionally, MakingStarWars insisted that viewers should keep their expectations in check because the fight itself is not a major scene.
Ahsoka series: Opens A New Dimension to Star Wars
As fans were overwhelmed by Ashoka battling against the Dreath Vader, however, it never happened in the original timeline because when Anakin Skywalker turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader, Ahsoka was off in the Tribunal ship dealing with the aftermath of Order 66, a devastating event that resulted in the fall of the Jedi order. Much later, this was revealed in the series” Rebel”. Thus, in the new series featuring the battle between Ashoka and Anakin Skywalker, we can expect a creative departure from the original timeline, offering the fans an entirely new dimension to the Star Wars narrative.
It is also speculated that Ahsoka will use the World Between Worlds in the upcoming Ahsoka series to travel back in time and attempt to reason with Anakin Skywalker before he turned into Darth Vader. Ahsoka will be able to confront her troubled past in this scene, which was previously seen in Star Wars: Rebels, and realize that she cannot alter the past. Ezra Bridger learned from her that accepting the past is essential for moving forward. The new series thereby explores Asoka’s journey of self-discovery and redemption, making it highly anticipated and compelling for the Star Wars universe.
