How did Sandra Bullock’s longtime partner Bryan Randall die?

Sandra Bullock has been successful in acting as well as in relationships. The actress was in a relationship with the late photographer Bryan Randall for a long time. The two were reported to have started dating in 2015. However, the 59-year-old kept things quiet and private with Randall.

Sadly, on Monday, news broke that the photographer died over the weekend at the age of 57. He battled with ALS for three years. His family confirmed the death in a statement saying,

“It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS. Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request.”

The late photographer’s family further thanked the doctors and other people who took care of him. His family further added,

“We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours.”

Sandra Bullock’s longtime boyfriend’s family asked for privacy as they grieve the loss of one of their own and say the impossible goodbye to Bryan Randall.

Sandra Bullock’s sweet relationship with Bryan Randall

Sandra Bullock and Bryan Randall were reported to have started dating in 2015. They met when he photographed the actress’s son Louis’s birthday in January 2015. The duo made their relationship private in August 2015. The 59-year-old and Randall appeared as a couple at Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s wedding.

They made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Our Brand Is Crisis premiere in Los Angeles. Bullock, mother to Louis, 13, and Laila, 10, discussed marriage during a December 2021 interview. She confessed to finding the love of her life but was not interested in getting married.

Bullock went on to call her lover a “saint” and the type of role model she wants her children to have as they grow up. Bullock’s aversion to marriage appears to have played a role in Randall’s choice to leave their home in late 2022. However, despite their difference, the couple maintained their relationship.
