Marine Lance Cpl. Rylee J. McCollum was killed in Kabul by a suicide bombing on Aug 26, 2021. After this incident, Alec Baldwin found one of his sisters, Roice McCollum, and sent her a check for $5000. Baldwin said that this amount was a “tribute to a dead soldier.”
After Roice McCollum posted a picture of herself on Instagram, on the anniversary of the January 6 incident in Washington DC, she and Baldwin got engaged in an online argument. The Edge actor contacted Roice McCollum online. He said, “When I sent you the $, I didn’t know you were a January 6th rioter.” He further added that he just sent the money out of respect for her brother’s service to the country. Baldwin then posted a photo of hers on his Instagram and his 2.4 Million followers accused her of being an “insurrectionist.”

The Late Marine’s Sisters filed two Lawsuits against the MotherLess Brooklyn actor
The family first filed a lawsuit against Baldwin in Wyoming. The family filed another defamation lawsuit against him this Friday and has asked for $25 Million in damages. In the lawsuit, it was stated that Baldwin accused the sisters of being “insurrectionists.” The lawsuit further stated that his post and actions made them subjected to verbal abuse from his fans.
Amidst all this chaos, the FBI has also made some serious developments around the Rust shooting case and that can spell more trouble for the actor.
