King Charles vs Elon Musk?
Amber Heard’s former loverboy Elon Musk who is also the second richest man in the world is getting sued by King Charles Estate. The bizarre turn of events is the result of Elon Musk allegedly failing to pay the rent for the London office in a complex on Air Street called Air W1, whose landlord turned out to be none other than the Crown Estate.
The Crown Estate is an independent commercial business owned by the British Monarch. The UK space has been in use as a home for the bluebird since 2011 and is owned by The Crown Estate. It also owns more than 2.6 million square feet of office space in the British capital.
This blow came after the landlord for San Fransisco space filed a $6.8 million lawsuit against Elon Musk. The same story is with Seattle and now London. Although the company still occupies the building all the signs and logos locating the headquarters have been removed as an immediate consequence.
Twitter is struggling and so is Elon Musk
It is no secret that the man, the myth, the legend Elon Musk is not the best person to run a social media company based on the series of events that occurred after his takeover. Elon Musk reportedly sacked roughly 7,500 employees. Dismissed vital teams responsible for handling the spread of misinformation and content moderation on the platform. The CEO and the CFO also resigned from their positions allegedly after the Musk takeover. Since then, lawsuits are not a new thing for the company. Every day comes with new opportunities for some people and with new lawsuits for Elon Musk following his buyout.
According to the reports to bring in more money for the company Elon Musk is trying out new ways. One of which was to auction off company souvenirs. The iconic Twitter bird statue was sold for $100,000 in the past week. Only time will tell what more the future has in store for the social media company.
