The actress, following her defeat in the trial, moved to Spain to have a life away from the media’s attention and focused on raising her daughter, Oonagh Paige. It was recently announced that she is expecting her second child, which got fans curious about her romantic history.

After parting ways with van Ree, Heard’s highly publicized relationship with actor Johnny Depp began in 2013. The two of them met in 2009 during the filming of The Rum Diary but got romantically involved in 2011 during the press tour of the movie.
The famous former couple got married in 2015 and ended their marriage in 2016 when Heard accused Depp of domestic violence. Johnny Depp was never charged based on her claims, and eventually, their divorce was settled in 2017. But what Heard did not expect was the long, exhausting legal battle against Depp after she wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post.
The actress was found liable for the allegations brought in by Johnny Depp at the Fairfax County, Virginia, court. According to reports by Variety, the former couple decided to settle with Heard paying Depp $1 million and him donating the money to charities. The jury had initially awarded Johnny Depp $10 million in compensatory and $5 million in punitive damages. The latter sum was reduced to $350,000 to comply with statutory cap.
Following her split from Johnny Depp, Amber Heard dated billionaire and Tesla founder Elon Musk in 2016. The couple became Instagram official only to let their romance crash as they split in 2017.
And then back in 2020, Amber Heard sparked romance rumors with filmmaker Bianca Butti after the two of them were spotted kissing in Palm Springs, California. The duo over the couple of months was pictured together at various outings. Heard welcomed Paige in 2021 via surrogacy and had taken to her social media to state that she decided to have a child four years prior and wanted to do it on her terms. She mentioned that she hopes that we as a society arrive at a point in which it is normalized to not want a ring to have a crib.
In her interview with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie (via People), Heard mentioned that post-trial, she’s looking forward to focusing on being a mom full-time. The details of her pregnancy are not quite clear as of now.
