Amid Euphoria Season 3, Spider-Man 4, and New Christopher Nolan Film, Zendaya is in Massive Danger For One Sole Reason
- Zendaya's 2025 schedule is packed with projects like 'Euphoria Season 3', 'Spider-Man 4', and a new Christopher Nolan film.
- Zendaya will also return in 'Dune 3' possibly stretching her hectic schedule until 2026.
- Zendaya’s commitments might push her to her limits, raising concerns about potential burnout.
Zendaya is probably the biggest example of the current generation who walked the path from being a Disney channel star to a Hollywood giant. The actress started her career as a child artist in 2010 and has never stopped since then.
The 28-year-old star has shown versatility and talent through her performances in shows and films like Euphoria, Spider-Man, and Dune, which earned her many accolades. However, the upcoming year seems to raise concern if Zendaya has to push herself a bit too much.
Zendaya’s Schedule Reaches Breaking Point in 2025
After a successful 2024 that saw her starring in both Dune: Part Two and Challengers, Zendaya doesn’t seem to be taking a break anytime soon. She is currently shooting The Drama along with Robert Pattinson, but 2025 is going to be an even busier year for her.
After facing some setbacks, Euphoria Season 3 is becoming a reality with HBO boss Casey Bloys greenlighting an eight-episode season to go into production in January 2025 (as per Variety). “I have read the scripts. We’re happy. We’re moving ahead. All of the actors are in the show,” Bloys said at an HBO/Max press event. The series has already brought Zendaya two Emmys.
Adding to this, Zendaya will be back again with Tom Holland in Christopher Nolan’s still-undisclosed movie. The movie will also star Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon and begin shooting sometime in early 2025, with an IMAX release planned for July 17, 2026 (as per Deadline).
Apart from this, the real-life couple will also be proceeding with Spider-Man 4. Holland confirmed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, saying, “It’s happening. Next summer we start shooting.” He also revealed on the Rich Roll Podcast that he and Zendaya have already read the script together, saying, “We at times were bouncing around the living room like, ‘This is a real movie worthy of the fans’ respect.'”
Moreover, Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s A24 film The Drama will most probably be released in 2025 as well. Fans should expect to see Zendaya everywhere, juggling multiple major projects throughout the year.
Dune 3 Will Continue Zendaya’s Run
Before Zendaya’s schedule couldn’t get any fuller, Denis Villeneuve threw yet another major project by stating that Dune 3‘s production is already underway. The director revealed to Deadline that he is “in the writing zone right now” for the adaptation of Dune: Messiah.
The third part will have a significant time jump. Villeneuve said, “The story takes place like 12 years after where we left the characters at the end of Part Two.” He also confirmed that Zendaya will reprise her role of Chani alongside Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy, and others.
What makes this project especially interesting is Villeneuve’s focus on Zendaya’s character. “It’s like the whole movie is structured around Paul and Chani’s relationship,” he said to Deadline. Though the director avoided specifics about production and shooting dates, he revealed late 2025 or early 2026 to be a possible timeline to begin the shoot.
Villeneuve also admitted that he might “go back behind the camera faster” than he thinks. Dune 3 will most probably stretch Zendaya’s hectic schedule beyond 2026, which increases the risk of burnout for the in-demand star.
