Controversial British-American media personality Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate have been released from Romania jail. Currently, the former kickboxer and his brother will be under house arrest in Romania after being behind the bars for 92 days. The Tate brothers were arrested on December 29, 2022, but they were never charged in the case.

Tate and his brother Tristan were detained on suspicion of human trafficking, rape, and affiliation with a criminal organization. On 29 March 2023, Tate took it to Twitter and gave a hint to the world that he might be released on Friday. He wrote, “Friday. Inshallah.”

Andrew Tate was asked for his statement after being released from prison after 92 days and he said,

“I have no resentment in my heart for the country of Romania or for anybody else. I just believe in the truth, I believe in god and I think that the fire of truth will eventually destroy all lies and anybody who lies in a long enough time frame will feel the sting of regret.”

Tate further talked about him being not guilty and believing that justice will be served in the end. He said,

“I truly believe that justice will be served in the end. There is a 0% chance of me being found guilty of something I have not done. I maintain my absolute innocence I look forward to being home.” 

Tate will be on house arrest until 29 April 2023 with his brother Tristian.

Andrew Tate: From Big Brother to Romanian Cell

Tate first appeared as a contestant in the Big Brother house in 2016. But he was removed from the show after a video of him assaulting a woman went viral on social media. He later claimed that the video was edited and that he never attacked any women. Tate is a four-time kickboxing champion who retired from the sport in 2016 due to an injury. He calls himself a “misogynist” and has been spotted commenting critically about women many times.

In his statement where he talked about being a misogynist, he said,

“I’m a realist and when you’re a realist, you’re sexist. There’s no way you can be rooted in reality and not be sexist.” 

Tate was banned from Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and TikTok for his harsh and insensitive views on women and other topics. Tate claims he is a “self-made millionaire” and that he made all the money through the webcam business. There was also a rumor that he brought women into the adult entertainment industry.

Tate has a great fan base and 3.5 million followers on Twitter. He received a lot of hate after his misogynist comments on women but many men and women were seen supporting Tate. When he and his brother Tristian were arrested, many people protested and claimed that they were innocent.

A wave of relief flowed through the Cobra brothers or Tate brothers fans when the two were released from Jail. In his recent Tweet Tate wrote,

“Since last year I’ve been in 24-hour lockdown. No yard time. Pacing a 3-metre cell with zero electronics or outside contact. Absolute clarity of mind. Real thoughts. Real plans. Vivid pain. One hour home and I can’t stand my phone. Some habits die hard. We must defeat Shaytan.”

Twitter comments show that Tate has garnered many supporters despite being involved in numerous controversies. Many of his fans are intrigued to know what will be his comeback move.
